Artist statement: My artwork has always reflected my passion for wildlife. Originally from the USA, I came to Australia twenty years ago as an Earthwatch volunteer in the Mountain Ash forests of Eastern Victoria. There, I came into contact with remote and protected landscapes and animals. I immediately fell in love with the distinct and unique flora and fauna of Australia. I hope to see these diverse ecosystems protected so that my children can have the same opportunities I have had to experience them.
