The mountain greenhood is found on sheltered southern slopes near streams in rich soil.
It grows in moist forests on foothills, ranges and montane areas in NSW, ACT and Victoria.
Threats
- Grazing and trampling by feral horses.
- Invasion of weeds.
- Droughts caused by climate change.
